My Story
I started painting when I was 10 years old and always enjoyed painting mountains, nature, and wildlife. I took art classes in high school, and through the years I continued learning new techniques as I grew in my ability to create beautiful paintings, geodes, resin art, and furniture. I love making things and placing my own ideas into each work of art. My oil paintings eventually inspired me to explore geodes, using paints, crystals, stones, wood products, and other materials to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. From there, I began incorporating these techniques into different resin products, including small and large resin tables and other handcrafted creations. For me, each new material is another opportunity to experiment, create, and bring something unique to life.
Faith and Vision
I feel blessed to live in Alaska, surrounded by an abundance of beautiful scenery and wildlife that continually inspire my work. The mountains, forests, animals, and changing landscapes give me endless ideas to bring to canvas and into my handcrafted pieces. My Christian faith is also an important part of my life and creative process, and I am grateful for the gifts God has given me to create and share with others. I believe every piece of art has something to say to the person who sees it and holds a treasure of enjoyment. Through my paintings, geodes, resin art, and custom creations, I hope to share beauty, inspiration, and a sense of wonder with every person who experiences my work.

Artist & Founder
Marcia Lightner
I enjoy creating unique pieces and seeing how much people enjoy my work. Over the years, I have expanded from oil painting into geodes, resin art, and furniture, always looking for new ways to combine color, crystals, stones, wood, and resin. I create small and large resin tables, NFL bar tables, platters, coasters, and other custom pieces designed around the customer’s ideas and preferences. I also enjoy creating special pieces that preserve meaningful memories, including wedding bouquets transformed into small resin tables that can be treasured for years. My husband, Bill, is the pastor of Crown of Life Ministries and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He is very active in helping me with whatever work needs to be done for our projects. Our little service dog, Khalesi, is also a big part of our everyday lives and stays close to us while we work. I welcome you into my ever-growing gallery and thank you for the opportunity to share my work and creations with you.
